ADVS2 Laser Ablation in progress

Stop Losing Six Figures To Production Downtime

ADVS2 (Advanced Surface Solutions LLC) is a mobile, 100% disabled veteran‑owned laser ablation team based in Rome, GA. We bring our own generator power, strip industrial components back to bare substrate., and capture sub‑micron fumes at the source. Laser ablation is a strictly non-contact, dry process, we introduce zero blast media, water slurry, or chemicals to your facility.

Why Manufacturers Choose Advanced Surface Solutions

100% SDVOSB CERTIFIED

Rigorous precision on every job is executed by a strict 2-man crew (Operator + Safety Helper) ensuring total asset protection and procedure adherence.

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE & CFR

Public Health veteran expertise. High-velocity source capture of hex-chrome, lead, and toxins per strict 29 CFR 1910 protocols.

ZERO-GRID LOTO SAFETY

100% independent generator power. Zero facility grid strain, zero utility hazard, and seamless LOTO safety board integration.

Target Industries & Bare Substrate Outcomes

We bring our own power and advanced fume extraction directly to your line. While we capture 100% of the airborne contaminants and residues generated by our lasers, our focus remains strictly on precision surface ablation—not bulk debris or general facility removal.

In-Press Automotive Molds

What you have after ablation: Pristine tool steel and aluminum mold cavities. Completely free of hardened rubber, carbon, and release-agent buildup with zero micro-abrasive wear to precision tolerances.

Paint Hooks & E-Coat Racks

What you have after ablation: Clean, bare-metal hangers and fixtures. Eliminates the need for high-heat burn ovens that warp your racks or toxic chemical tanks that create hazardous waste.

Heavy Equipment Castings & Blocks

What you have after ablation: Bare engine blocks, transmission casings, and components. 20 years of baked-on grease and rust are obliterated, leaving a clean substrate ready for NDT crack inspections.

Textile & Flooring Production Rollers

What you have after ablation: Residue-free extrusion dies, mixing machinery, and texture rollers. All baked-on polymers, glues, and backing materials are instantly vaporized right on the line.

Heavy Fabricator Structural Steel

What you have after ablation: Pure, oxide-free steel plates and beams. Heavy mill scale, flash rust, and protective oils are stripped away instantly to ensure flawless, X-ray-certified welds.

EV Battery Components & Housing

What you have after ablation: Micro-clean battery tabs, cells, and aluminum housings. Selectively strips protective films and oxide layers right before laser welding with zero localized contamination.

“Their team arrived at our facility with their own power and containment. By cleaning on-site, they eliminated all shipping costs and we had zero cleanup responsibility.”

Service & Logistic Specs

Do you require facility power or utility tie-ins?

No. We deploy with 100% independent mobile generators. We never plug into your building, ensuring zero load on your utility grid and zero facility electrical hazard.

How do you handle airborne toxins and hazardous particulates?

We deploy high-efficiency negative-pressure fumegator source capture systems. This process pulls 99.997% of sub-micron airborne toxins, lead, and hexavalent chromium right at the point of ablation, maintaining strict compliance with 29 CFR 1910 protocols.

What plant housekeeping or cleanup is required from our crew?

Absolutely none. Because laser ablation is a non-contact, dry process, no blast media, water slurry, or chemical chemicals are ever introduced to your shop floor. We capture all vaporized residue at the source, leaving no secondary janitorial footprint.

Where is the work performed and how do you protect nearby personnel?

All work is performed completely on-site at your facility, line-side or in-press. We strictly isolate the workspace by establishing an ANSI Z136.9-compliant Laser Controlled Area (LCA) using multi-layer, laser-rated safety shielding curtains to eliminate plant liability.
